The British Books Challenge 2017

bbc-pointed-shaded

Hello everyone and welcome to one of my favourite challenges – The British Books Challenge which I have been participating in for about four years now. This year it is hosted by the lovely Michelle over at Tales of Yesterday – to find out more information and to sign up yourself please visit her page HERE.

The British Books Challenge is about supporting the work of British authors and the aim is to read twelve books a year (one a month). I’ve had great success with this in the past and I’m hoping to have another brilliant year reading fiction/non-fiction from our talented British authors. Please see below for my reviews of any British Books I have read so far, which I will continue to update as and when I finish them.

Checkmate (Noughts & Crosses #3) – Malorie Blackman

The Dry – Jane Harper

 The Ballroom – Anna Hope

The Muse – Jessie Burton

A Boy Made Of Blocks – Keith Stuart

Monsters Of Men (Chaos Walking #3) – Patrick Ness

Burned And Broken – Mark Hardie

Swimming Lessons – Claire Fuller

Just What Kind Of Mother Are You? – Paula Daly

The Girl Who Walked On Air – Emma Carroll
