As always, we’ll be talking about each book on the last Monday of every month so if you’d like to join in, you’re more than welcome! Happy New Year everyone!
In the Night Kitchen was a banned book?! I’ve really learned so much from your banned book posts, I’m so looking forward to more of them this year! Happy New Year, Beth!
Ah thank you so much 😊 I know it’s crazy isn’t it? Looking forward to finding out why THAT one was banned! 🙄
Yay! I am so glad you two are doing banned books again! It really does showcase how silly some of these book challenges are – most of the time it’s obvious that the people trying to ban the books haven’t even read them!
Happy New Year!
Thank you so much Denise we do love doing it! Even if I get a little worked up sometimes at the reasons for banning/challenging! 😂 Happy New Year to you too. 😁
Excited for your reviews of these, Beth! They all sound good!
Thank you 😁 I’m sure I’ll be getting worked up and irritated with the reasons for every single one of them! 😂
Hunger Games? Oh, why?
I can’t wait to re-read it again Norrie and moan to everyone about how pointless banning books is! 😂
It does sound pointless! And Hunger Games was so good!
Probably the whole teenager killing each other thing. 😒🙄
Ah like they do it in real life… they should ban that, if you ask me 😀
Hahaha 😂 yes it’s just encouraging them to do it more if you ask me. 😉
