What are you currently reading?:
I’ve had this book on my TBR list for some time and am finally getting to it. About halfway through and it’s quite interesting so far but a little dry in parts.
What did you recently finish reading?:
This book was the April read for the feature which I participate in with my sister – Beth and Chrissi do Kid-Lit. I absolutely loved it and you can see my review HERE and Chrissi’s review HERE.
What do you think you’ll read next?:
Next up is this non-fiction guide to the beautiful country of Iceland, which I visited recently and is part of a new feature on my blog coming soon (I hope!)

Oh you are so good reading non-fiction. It always sounds interesting to me, but I never seem to get to them… Enjoy! 🙂
Thank u I do like it from time to time! 🙂
Learning more about the suffrage movement would be interesting. I do want to read the Narnia books one of these days. I actually didn’t realize there were so many. Might be fun ones to read with my youngest son. Cool you got to go to Iceland! It’s one of those places I don’t think a lot of people think about visiting.
Thanks Dawn I’m finding out a lot of things I didn’t know! The Narnia books are lovely, the first two especially and I really recommend them. Yes Iceland was amazing, it’s so beautiful and I could really see myself living there!
I really want to visit Iceland so your non-fiction choice has caught my eye.

You’re welcome!
I’m currently reading Keep Your Friends Close by Paula Daly to review for my new blog, I just finished This Boy by Alan Johnson, and next up I’m swithering between Flash Boys by Michael Lewis and Kim Philby: A Spy Among Friends by Ben Macintyre. Don’t you love that “what shall I read next feeling? So much potential there!
Sorry for the late reply Crimeworm, been so hectic the last week. I really want to read some Paula Daly, I have her first book all ready on my Kindle but goodness knows when I’ll get to it! Hope you enjoy the Ben Macintyre if you get to it, I’ve read one by him before and really enjoyed it. 🙂
He’s fantastic at making real life read like an incredibly exciting thriller – with his books, the adage “truth is stranger than fiction” appears to be true. I ADORED the end of Agent Zigzag – spoiler alert – where, in his later life, he meets his old German spymaster/controller, and the two of them had a fine night drinking and reminiscing – with no animosity for Chapman being a double agent! As Macintyre says, though a lot more eloquently, war can make heroes of the most unlikely men and women. He has a knack for finding the raw materials and spinning a fine yarn from it; a hugely talented writer.
