What are you currently reading?:
I’m reading this book from Icelandic Nobel Prize winner Halldor Laxness as part of a new review on my blog that is coming in a couple of months (I think!). It was quite peculiar at first but I’m getting into it now and quite enjoying it.
What did you recently finish reading?:
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of James Dawson’s new book Say Her Name, due to be published in June. I loved it and will post a review nearer to the publication date.
What do you think you’ll read next?:
I’m a huge fan of Philippa Gregory and have been waiting for so long for this book to come out in paperback (I have far too many hardbacks, it’s ridiculous). Can’t wait to start it!
What are you reading this Wednesday? Please leave your link and I’ll pay you a visit! Happy Reading Everyone.
enjoy your books! 🙂

Eeeeee, you’ve got some great books coming up. I’m so excited for you.
Thanks sis, I’m excited for me too!! x
I don’t think I’ve ever read a book by an Icelandic author! I should do better, living in a Nordic country and all…. Perhaps it’s because I usually read fantasy books, and we don’t get a lot of those translated.
Also, Say Her Name has a pretty greepy cover! I have to say I’m interested…
It would be great to get some fantasy books translated! I’m trying to broaden my horizons a bit by reading more foreign authors. Say Her Name is all about Bloody Mary and it’s incredibly creepy!
You always pick such a good variety of books, enjoy The White Princess, Philippa Gregory does tell a great story and she’s one author I forgive for pushing the historical facts 🙂
Thank you, me too I just love her writing I could forgive her anything I think! 🙂
Say Her Name looks creepy. Hope you enjoy Gregory’s book. That’s a lovely cover. I haven’t read anything by her yet, but I really want to.
Thanks for visiting The Book Connection.
You’re welcome. I really recommend Philippa Gregory, she’s one of my all time favourite authors and I automatically buy anything she puts out! 🙂
That is a great list of books you’ve been reading! Thanks so much for stopping by Southern Girl Reads today! Enjoy the rest of your week.
Thank you Lisa, you too! 🙂
I’m a huge fan of Gregory, too.
Yaay! I can’t wait to read this one.
Say her name looks awesome!
