What are you currently reading?

This is the June release for the Waterstones Eleven debut authors, please see my previous post HERE. I’m just starting this one, and have the feeling it’s going to be incredibly sad… it’s written from the point of view of the authors son, who tragically died after a virulent strain of meningitis.

What did you recently finish reading?

I’ve been meaning to read something by Patrick Hamilton for ages, and this was a book group choice, so I’m really glad I could read it. My review will follow shortly but I absolutely loved it and hope to read his other classic, Hangover Square, very soon.

What do you think you’ll read next?

This is the next book on the Richard and Judy Summer Book Club 2013 list, please see my post HERE. It’s the story of two people who collide with each other just as the whole world seems to be caught between the hope and promise of Obama’s election and the catastrophic collapse of the global economy. Hmm… sounds intriguing!

Please feel free to leave your WWW posts and I’ll pop by and see what you’re reading this week! Happy Reading Everyone!

  • I hope you enjoy The Son, if you can enjoy a book like that! It’s so good though. I’m also looking forward to reading This Is How It Ends 🙂

  • Comments make me go to my happy place...
