What are you currently reading?

Hmmm… yes, title catch your eye? I’m a big fan of Chinese fiction and the author won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2012 so I thought why not? Started off a bit slow but I’m really getting into it now.

What did you recently finish reading?

This novel was long-listed for the Man Booker prize and has some great comedy moments although it wasn’t perfect for me personally. Review to follow very shortly!

What do you think you’ll read next?

This was chosen as part of the “classics” section of my bookclub, I can’t believe I haven’t read it yet but I’m looking forward to it!

  • Er yes.. interesting title of the book you’re currently reading! Ha! I hope you enjoy Frankenstein. I haven’t read it yet either.

  • Just finished 5 Days in May – Andrew Adonis’ account of the formation of the coalition govt after the last election. One for left-leaning UK political nerds only – so perfect for me! Review soon.

Currently reading The Village by Nikita Lalwani – a novel about film-makers making a documentary ion an Indian prison village. Early days – not sure what I think yet.

And next up House of Rain by Greg Gifune – which looks like a weird horrory, thrillery, philosophical-type thingie…hmm! Seemed like a good idea when I picked it!
